FAQs
What is included in the booking fee?
Your booking fee covers a number of items - all time spent communicating between Bridal Bliss Nannies, the team and client, further admin time, and insurances.
Will we speak to our nanny before the babysit date?
Absolutely. Clear and open communication is a key part of our service.
Once your booking is confirmed and contract signed, you and your babysitter will receive one another’s details and she will be in touch to introduce herself and set up a FaceTime if you wish.
We understand how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for your children, and we’re here to make that process as smooth and reassuring as possible.
Will we get to meet our babysitter before the babysit date?
You can request this - this must be paid at advertised rates, indicated on the booking form.
Do you transport the children?
Yes, we can transport children to and from places- in your car or ours.
This must be discussed and booked prior to the day as not all of our babysitters can offer this service.
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Absolutely. We are delighted to offer service to all family dynamics and couples.
How many children can you care for at one time?
Our rates are for 3 or less children in one booking.
If booking for 4 or more, we will indicate in your booking confirmation email the further costs.
At times, additional babysitters may be required for bookings with 3 or less children, which will be outlined in your confirmation email.
Can we have multiple families in one booking?
Yes, we can have multiple families in one booking. Please detail this in the booking form.
What do you do when the children go to sleep and there’s only one room (like in a hotel)?
These hotel and reception rooms can be tricky to manage and not always very comfortable for our babysitters. Generally we sit quietly with our air-pods in, listening to or watching something on one of our devices.
However, we know it’s part of the job and bring items to keep us entertained in dimly lit spaces. That way too, we’re there the moment a child might wake up, to soothe them back to sleep, or attend to their other needs.
Where are your main servicing areas?
We are based in Melbourne, with nannies available across Victoria (and border towns such as Moama)- The Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Phillip Island, Dandenong Ranges, Macedon Ranges, Nagambie, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Gippsland and beyond.
Do you service outside of Victoria?
We are open to discussing this!
Our nanny network is Australia wide, and we may have the perfect nanny for you available in Sydney, regional NSW, Darwin, Perth, Adelaide and all of Tasmania.
We have nannies available in Brisbane and the Gold Coast too.
Do you have qualifications?
Our babysitters all have extensive experience, with varying qualifications.
All of our nannies have their WWCC, First Aid & CPR, Child Safety training and minimum 2 checked references.
We are very proud to offer top quality babysitters to our clients with a wide range of experience from early childhood qualifications, teaching, nursing, swim teachers and dance teachers as well as decades of experience working in private homes and at weddings or events.
