How much is it to hire a wedding nanny with you?
Our rates begin at $50 per hour. Each enquiry is individually assessed and quoted, with most bookings receiving a set fee that includes a specified number of hours, and additional hours charged at an hourly rate—unless otherwise outlined in your personalised quote.

Rates are based on several factors, including the number and ages of the children, event location, on-the-day requests, and importantly, the experience and qualifications of the assigned nanny.

We don’t offer set packages, allowing us to tailor our service to each family's unique needs and provide a more flexible, personalised experience.

Do you have a minimum booking?
Yes, 4 hours is our minimum.

Will we get to meet our nanny before the wedding day?
I
n most cases, yes — we are happy to arrange a babysit or meet-and-greet prior to your booking. To organise this, please let us know in advance so we can schedule accordingly with your assigned nanny, who will liaise with you directly.

Meet-and-greets are charged at $45 per hour with a minimum of two hours, payable directly to your nanny. Travel fees may also apply, depending on the location.

Do we have to provide a vendor meal or other food for the nanny?
For all wedding bookings of five hours or more, a vendor meal (at minimum) must be provided for your nanny. If the booking takes place at accommodation or off-site, we will discuss suitable meal arrangements with you. All additional food and beverages required during the booking will be supplied by the nanny.

Are there additional costs?

Car seat hire is $15 per booking.
- KMs driven during the booking are charged at the ATO rate of .88c p/km (2024/25 rate).
- Additional activity set ups are quoted per job.
- Flower girl hair styling is quoted per job.
Any other costs will be discussed with the client directly.

Can we have multiple families in one booking?
Yes, we can have multiple families in one booking. Please detail this in the booking form.

Do you set up activity zones or spaces for the children to play at the reception?
Yes, for an additional fee, we can set up small activity zones for the children.

Do you have a booking fee?
Yes, we charge a Booking Fee of $125 for single-day bookings and $175 for multi-day bookings.

This fee secures your nanny, includes a meet and greet or home visit (if applicable), and covers insurance through Stella Brokers, along with associated administrative costs.

As a gesture of appreciation, a reduced Booking Fee applies for returning clients who book with us again.

How do I book and pay?
Following your initial enquiry, Joey will review the details and provide you with a tailored quote via email. A follow-up SMS is also sent to ensure the quote reaches you.

If further information is required before a quote can be finalised, you will receive additional questions via email. Nanny availability is checked for each enquiry, with local team members prioritised to reduce travel costs. In some cases—such as for newborns or children with additional needs—a nanny from outside your area may be better suited. If so, we’ll discuss this with you in detail.

Once you're happy with the quote, simply let us know. Joey will then issue the Booking Fee invoice, Contract, and Family Form to officially confirm your booking.

After confirmation, details about your assigned nanny will be shared, and she will contact you directly to introduce herself and discuss the day in more detail.

Your nanny will invoice you directly for the service, and you’ll receive a follow-up email after the event for feedback.
